Cashew Cheese is a great option if you’re looking for a healthy alternative to regular cheese, and you can make it right in your own home!

  • 1½ cups raw cashews
  • ¼ cup water (room temperature), or more as needed
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2-4 cloves of garlic, or ¼ ​- ½ tsp garlic powder.
    (use more or less depending on how much of a garlic flavor you want)
  • ½ tsp salt


  • 1 tbsp sacha inchi powder
    Sacha Inchi Powder has a warm, nutty taste, adding more depth to your cashew cheese


Step 1

Soak cashews in a large bowl of water for 2-3 hours. (Up to 10 hours, can leave overnight)

Step 2

Drain cashews, and place in a food processor with the remaining ingredients

Step 3

Blend until smooth. Consistency should be similar to hummus. You may add more water for desired consistency.

Step 4

Place cashew cheese mixture into a container, cover, and refrigerate for 1 day.

Step 5

Serve and enjoy!
